Has anyone ever had any issues with the LCD dashboard screen flickering ? It can still be read but has an annoying flicker. I have tried adjusting the brightness but still has annoying flicker.

I can't recall anyone reporting such a problem in the past.

I'd double check that both of the wiring multi-connectors are fully inserted
at the back of the Instrument Pack, which will require some dismantling :

HOW TO : Remove the Instrument Panel

Otherwise Member "digital" may be able to provide some guidance with his superior electronics knowledge.

    Cheers  :821:

Thanks Coconut, I removed the panel and checked yesterday, unfortunately no change, it is like a loose connection though. Digital has probably already been in the instrument panel and has some words of wisdom :-)

Mine had a few of the led lights that were flickering.  I disassembled the gauge cluster and replaced all the leds.  Had to use my solder rework station to extract and replace the diodes.  I will have to double check but I believe the diodes were 3030.

Well, I don't know exactly what that type of blinking is like. A video recording might help.

There is a type of flicker that usually does when changing gears and idling.

I don't know if you are referring to that same blinking.

It could be one of the lower diodes that is causing the flicker. Video is with engine off. Engine off or on makes no difference.

I don't know if it's because of the video that doesn't show up very well, it doesn't seem like the typical flicker coming from the cables that goes from the alternator to the battery.

One question, if the engine revs up, does that tremor disappear?
