    Disconnecting Flash card.

Hi, I'm asking for advice or an idea or a suggestion.  I've read before on this forum about the flash card disconnecting in the glove compartment USB port.  But I didn't read anywhere whether someone solved the problem and how.  When accelerating mostly to the second, sometimes even the third, but less often another gear, the message "no device" appears on the display. After a little while, it loads again, once it happened that I had to completely remove the flash card and reinsert it into the USB port in order to  reloaded. I did a full port security check- ok, cleaned the connector,,FAT formatted the USB flash card.I taped the card to see if there was any change in the play. Maybe an audio system software update would help.Battery voltage with engine running  ok too i don't know. Thank you.

Basic fix for the mp3/ flash player fitted in the USB is to use a short 150mm M to F extn usb cable allowing the 'weight' of the usb 'stick' to rest on the floor of the glove box.
This worked fine from new on my 2013.
Still use extn lead for the DAB on the 2016 bike.

I seem to remember that someone mentioned the same problem with trimming long file names, since the Trophy's sound system does not recognize long file names and triggers warnings.

On the other hand, it can also be due to low battery voltages and the sound system disconnects for a few seconds, when it is in USB mode and connects again.

Yes, does the problem really lie in the battery voltage drop module. I have already tried the 150 mm A-A cable to which I connected the flash card.  Taped the flash card, same problem.  When driving over uneven terrain at a steady speed, the flash does not disconnect.  This happens when accelerating hard from 1 to 2 or 3 to 4. It doesn't happen during steady or slow acceleration.

Check out the link, I was fed up with the OEM sound system and decided to do that project.
