2014 dealer meeting in Alabama ended today
« on: October 16, 2013, 12:26:08 AM »
Dealers should have some details about the 2014's now.  I see my dealer in NC this Saturday for my 500 mile service.  Maybe he will have some information.  If you hear something please post.

Triumph hosts the dealer event at Barber Motorsports track in Birmingham, AL.  The guy that sold me my Trophy crashed in Turn 5 at their event...

I'm going back to Barber this coming weekend to run around the track on my GSXR.  Hopefully not to crash though!

Waiting to see that list of updates for 2014!  My wish list:

- TPS woes identified and resolved
- Display problems resolved
- New Fuel tanks for US (I know this should already probably be fixed).
- Something close to the color of my current steed:

Flying thru Detrpit, met a couple returning from the event that own a Triumph dealer.  Nice couple, I enjoyed meeting them. :002:

Busa, you are one lucky dude, geographically speaking.  I've been to the Smokies three times; that pic was summer 2012.  I prefer the Cherohala, 6 Gaps, etc, but while you're in the area, you almost have to do the Dragon.  I led a 4-day BRP trip two years ago.  Townsend, TN, on the north side of the park, is a 10-hour trip on superslab for us, but we still try to make it over there at least once per year.

The Bandit makes a surprisingly capable sport-tourer, and is, in fact what steered me towards the TT; I like the torque curve, and of course the amenities like better wind protection, heated grips/seat, electronically adjustable suspension, fly-by-wire, etc.  Once they get all of the birthing pains worked out, I'll be on one for sure!

End Thread Hijack; sorry folks.

TwoBrothersBusa:

I lived just up the road in Cleveland for eight years.

You have the best local roads in the world! If I ever get to retire from work, I'll move back to that area.
