CLUNK...
« on: October 16, 2013, 03:06:07 pm »
Hi, I've noticed a very slight "clunk" whenever I stop the bike. It seems to come from the front left fork somewhere and doesn't really matter whether I stop using my front or back brakes (possibly because of the linked braking).

I don't seem to hear it when I rock the bike on the front suspension so I'm guessing it's something to do with the front brake rather than the forks...

Has anyone else experienced this or know what it could be?

Thanks,
BB

Likely just your glove box unlocking.  Others have noticed the same thing.

Thanks Scuba, that makes sense. I nearly said in my original post that it sounds very like the noise I hear when I switch on the ignition but I couldn't see any way the two things could be related..!! Duh..!!  :034:

It's one of the things I'm really glad I read about here first, because when I finally pull the trigger and buy a TT, I'd otherwise probably have to ask the same question!
