Schubert SRC system

Has anyone tested the Schubert SRC system with the bluetooth audio system on the TT? Does it have the same audio dropouts that many of you have reported with some of the other communication systems?

I have been using the SRC system and it has been working well. There have been times where the audio goes out for a second or two but never disconnects. I just had the new software applied and for the last @150 miles it has not dropped once. I am not saying it is fixed but I don't believe it is being caused by the SRC system.
The only other Bluetooth system I have used was the extremely expensive J&M version 1 and the SRC is head and shoulders above it.
Bottom line is that I am extremely pleased with the SRC performance.

Thanks, Scott. Going to try the Schubert system out with the Trophy. I have one set already, considering bying one for my wife as well. Had hoped that my Scala Rider G9 would work, because of the increased range and ease of use. We will see what the software upgrade will fix. By the day, when did your dealer upgrade your bike's software? I am asking because I am not sure which software version I have on mine.

I am not sure of the exact date but it was within the last 2-3 weeks. Not sure which version. I will try to find that out and let you know.

When you paired your SRCS to the audio system, did you do it as a phone device or a GPS device?

The process was quite easy. In the audio setup, the system recognized the SRCS without poblems. Paired as a headset.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. when pairing the SRCS, one can choose to pair the helmet as if it were either a phone (use the  Mobile Phone button to pair) or a GPS (use the Volume Up button to pair). Once paired, the helment system when powered up will announce which is connected; ie. "GPS Connected" if you'd paired with as a GPS.

Which did you use?

Ok. I paired using the mobile phone button. Works fine
