Changing oil and filter

I am planning on changing the oil and filter at 5000 miles, I would like to know if you need to remove the side panel to remove the oil filter.It look like a close fit

not necessary, just remove a screw and goes free

As miss says if you remove the one attachment closest to the filter the fairing can be gently pulled enough to let the filter wrench fit

Thanks I change the oil and filter today and remove the the bottom screw worked great .

Good show.  I've found that of all the Triumphs I've ever owned (and its quite a few) that the Trophy is the easiest.

difficult it will be to change the air filter that motorcycle fairing must be removed to remove the tank, is just below

You are certainly correct about that.  In fact I intend to ask the dealer what he will charge to change the filter while doing the tank replacement recall.  The charge should be minimal as long as he already has the tank off.

Triumph  should have the air filter changed  at 20000 miles when you  need to remove everything to check the valves adjustment and fuel filter . Most car air filter are good for 20000 miles
