No standard Trophy?
« on: November 06, 2013, 04:25:23 PM »
Do I understand correctly from the new Triumph site that there is no longer a basic Trophy for sale, just the SE now?

John.

Saw that last night and wondered the same. It would be a shame to lose the choice, not everyone wants a radio etc. I like the extra space under the seat.

And if I'd gone the Trophy route (instead of the Tiger one), I'd have had the basic one. No wish for a radio and a would prefer running conventional suspension once the warranty had expired  :164:

They must know what they're doing, I suppose...

In the states we can only get the se model I would have wish I could get the bike without the radio and auto suspemsion. Heated grips and seat should be standard instead .

I saw this as well, and got very curious, so I started going from country to country to see if it was true for all countries.

For a long time the US, Australia, and Canada were SE only. It looks like the UK has been added to this list as well.

However, there are other countries that have the standard model available.

Checked the website of Triumph France: only the SE is mentioned for 2014
