Engine build date location?
« on: November 19, 2013, 06:03:54 PM »
On my America the engine build date was on the tag with the serial number on the steering yoke.  Where is the build date located on the Trophy?

It's on the fork behind the  glove pocket on the left of the fairing. The build date is at the bottom of the sticker.

Yes the bike build date is on the fork.  But the OP seems to be asking about an engine build date.  I don't know if there is such thing. Keep in mind that engines are pre assembled and then installed in the frame

I don't think there is an engine build date.  The engine S/N is on the left side of the engine (sitting on the bike)  It's punched there with small dots.

The bike build date is very easy to see.  Just get a flashlight and look on the left side (looking at the bike as if you were seated on it) of the frame.

Thanks and sorry for the dumb question, I never paid attention to this and was just wondering if it was easy to access or if anything had to be taken apart

No such thing as a dumb question.  Nothing to take off, just a peek behind the fairing with a torch/flashlight
