Is anyone out there? NJ, PA areas?
« on: January 22, 2013, 06:02:27 PM »
Greeting fellow Trophy SE enthusiast's,

I sat on a Trophy SE for the first time at the NYC Bike Show, then the very next day, put my deposit down for a silver SE at Meutechen Triumph.  (Same place I bought my K1600 GTL).  I didn't need to test ride it, fell in love the moment I sat on her.

Anyone from this forum from the NJ or PA areas??

Glenn  :401:

Hello Glenn. I am from the west side of Pennsylvania. Are you keeping the GTL. I tried to buy a GTL but the BMW dealer would not take my Triumph Explorer on trade. My Trophy is at the dealer but I will not pick it up for a while because of the snow.

I'm going to keep my K1600 GTL.  I bought the Trophy SE to use as a daily driver, and for my wife to use when we go on long trips together.  She's doesn't like taking her long distances, and likes the SE (but she has a hard time planting her feet flat on the ground.  I'm going to also get a Explorer this spring.  I'm planning a trip to Iceland, and don't want to use the GTL or SE on dirt/gravel roads.  Maybe we can get together for a RTE sometime this spring.  I always attend the Pumpkin Festival in Confluence PA, maybe see you there!
