Hello from southern Ohio
« on: November 26, 2013, 07:18:43 PM »
I currently ride a 04 BMW 1150RT which my wife and I have enjoyed a lot over the years. I can't knock my RT it has given me 100,000 miles of great service, but at ten years old and 100K I am in the market for a new ride. We were once a part of the land yacht scene (Gold Wing) and then we test rode a sport tourer (1150RT) and we loved it. I do believe the Trophy is going to be that next new ride. I would say 80% of my riding is two up and when we travel the RT is loaded like a pack mule and takes it all in stride. From what I have been gathering from various sources the Trophy is up to the task. I have found the best info comes from the people that actually own and ride a certain model of bike so I joined here to see what folks are saying about the Trophy.

Hi there, and  :400:  to the Forum !

Most people that take a Trophy for a Test Ride seem to end up buying one,
including many former BMW owners  :169:

Like any forum, faults and niggles get aired,
but generally speaking the Trophy is a fantastic machine  :152:

If you have any specific questions it's probably best to use the "Search" facility,
then ask away in the appropriate Section for any answers that you can't find   :158:

Hi
Welcome to the forum . Like you I also own a 1999 BMW R1100 RT with 110,000 miles, just traded it for a 2013 trophy .I have 3000 miles on it so far and love every miles I put on it so far. The only thing I don,t like about the trophy that the bmw had is storage space in the glove and tail box the radio take up a lot of space . The power and handling is better that the BMW
