Just a simple one could someone provide a picture or two of the Garmin 660 mounted to the factory mount while off and on the bike please?

Fireman, Thanks very much. It looks like a very tidy unit so ordered one for $525. Just to confirm is that the factory mount and cable or is it the one that comes with the GPS?

The metal base is from Triumph, remember to also get the power harness adapter from Triumph. The cradle the 660 mounts to comes with the GPS and has the power and audio cables all attached, make sure you attach the audio out when hooking up the power, the hookups to the bike are right togeather on the left side of the bike behind the mirror pod.

You're seeing both. The last photo tell me it's the factory mount. The middle photo show me the Garmin Cradle that comes with the 660 GPS that is held by four screws to the factory mount.

You will also need a power cable that does NOT come with either.

Just so it's clear I need the following:
1. GPS - brought from who ever is the cheapest.
2. Cradle mount - brought from Triumph.
3. GPS mount - comes with GPS.
4. Adoptor power cable for GPS mount cable - brought from Triunph.

Adoptor cable plugs in behind left hand mirror.

Is that correct?

Is there a how to fit anywhere?

I think WE have it (I have not done mine yet either!). IMO, the best instructions can be found right here in this forum, but there are some written instructions that come with the mount/GPS/cable etc. They have also been linked  in some of these forum messages, so you might wanna check all the GPS threads if you want your written instructions in advance.

But I ain't sure if the audio connector will be right behind the right hand mirror, I think we have to tear some of the bike apart to get to the audio and power connector, located somewhere around the left mirror.

I will probably install my new 660 GPS next week. I am still waiting for the power cable, which should be here by then.

I don't know why Triumph wouldn't put such connectors in a place near the GPS where you can just plug the stuff in.

I  received my TTSE GPS connector kit today. But it seems the written instructions are only for the Triumph Rocket III touring motorcycles (whatever that is--I am new to Triumph). It tells me to lift the front of the fuel tank, so I don't think that applies to the TTSE.

Anyway, the only cable that does NOT come with the Garmin Zumo 660 GPS is this cable that plugs into the TTSE power plug. It is sold as a "kit" which includes 6 eight inch black tie wraps. The stock Triumph number of this kit is A9938065

However, if you supply your own six eight inch tie wraps, you can order the cheaper A9930122 which is the same Triumph GPS power connector without the 6 eight inch tie wraps.
