Hi Guys,
Just read through the rules of the forum and am a bit concerned that mods could see this thread as touting for business which it definitely is not. I'm not a sign shop I've only done a few signs for myself and a few friends.

Sorry if I've broken any rules I'm in the forum to learn about my bike not to sell stuff.

I read the rules too and I think you are correct.  I'm sure we all want to keep the Forum "clean"

Maybe there needs to be a section of the forum where more commercial offerings can be posted?? Either from full on suppliers or people like yourself who have just created a one off they could supply.

As the rules stand at the moment, which I just looked at, someone would need a Commercial membership,
( for which I assume there would be a cost ), to allow them to advertise goods on the Forum,
for example in the "Items For Sale / Wanted" Section, which is otherwise restricted for Personal / Private use.

Strictly speaking you ( we ) shouldn't even give details of items for sale elsewhere
( which I didn't know until just now, and have been "guilty" of ),
but in my experience so far, it seems that the Moderators take a sensible approach to this
and don't remove posts if, for example, someone were to point out a good deal for an item
that  someone else is selling, such as on "eBay", if the member posting the information is not
commercially connected with the seller, and the spirit of the post is to inform other members for their benefit.

Here's my two penny worth, if I may.

I for one am comfortable with the level of "advertising" used to date. So far, members have only posted links or items for the good and benefit of all AND we have not been inundated with pop-ups etc.
Provided that we all continue at this genuine and modest level, I'm cool with it.

Davybull, I think you're fine!! It's not as if the thread started with... Pay me and I'll make some for you!!

People enquired, you said you could make some - I think this kind of threadis really the heart of the forum... people doing things and helping others out. I'm still a regular on the UK Deauville forum and one guy breaks knackered ones down for parts. He must make a tidy little profit but when people ask or post saying they're looking... he offers and does it all politely... and it's well accepted.

Back tracking slightly... Looks really good!! 

I may need to send you a request when I complete my trailer build!
