I mounted dual Fiamm's with different tones on mine on the R&G bars with a separate micro switch below the standard horn so I have the option of a LITTLE warning, or the BIG warning.

Think I'm about to pull the trigger on a lithium battery and thought maybe  a way to solve the " Where to mount a bigger horn"  issue would be purchasing a split air horn system, similar to the one below, mounting the  compressor in the battery area (should be plenty of room with the smaller battery) and installing horn where existing horn is.

Just a thought!   :033:

That's a good solution, I just wasn't ready to completely strip things to get to that option at the time.  I am about to do the 30K maintenance myself though, so we'll see how the process goes.

I hear ya'! Don't believe I'd strip the body work down just for a horn either.
I'm installing R and G bars next week and planning on getting the horn situation and drls installed at the same time.

Another option I might look into are the piaa slimline dual horns (same as before, one mounted where existing horn is and the other in the battery area).

I haven't had any battery issues yet, but I don't know how long mine will live for (it's the original from 2015 afaik).  I had been thinking about going lithium when I replace, and this is a really good additional reason to do so.  Thanks for the idea!
2015 TTSE.  It's blue.

:028:  No battery issues here but found a great deal on a lithium, courtesy of tdragger at the link below.
Didn't realize how small they are until I watched a couple of videos!
