How cold is your ride this morning?
« on: December 04, 2013, 05:13:03 PM »
Well, I put the Trophy to the cold test this morning....23 f. She cranked right up, ran smooth. Looks like we have a week of cold weather testing ahead of us. Might see the teens tomorrow.

If you substitute centigrade for farenheit, that is what we have to put up with  :015:

Unfortunately I will, as it gets to -10c here, but at least it rarely snows outside of the mountains.

I've found the Trophy to be the best cold weather bike I've ever ridden. I rode down to Nashville this weekend. It was 23F when I left Corbin and about 35F when I got to Nashville after three and a half hours of riding. All that extra wind protection for the legs is awesome.

My feet get a bit colder than they did on the Gold Wing, but the rest of me is much warmer.

So far I've been down to 14F on this bike. I expect a cold winter, but I'll ride as long as there is no ice on the roads.

what kind of clothing are you wearing? I can ride 30 something for an hour to work, but than i get colder and less tolerant as the miles pile on.
