Touratech seat for Trophy
« on: December 04, 2013, 07:11:50 PM »
Is anyone using this seat ? A friend of mine just put one on an explorer. It looks good and fits good. He likes his. Still not satisfied with my seat. Had it modified by Seargent. Still have to use my biker air cushion to ride 100 mi. non stop.

Hi,

I've ordered one in May and they still cannot deliver. After the new BMW RT ist ready for sale I think that it will last until next summer :191:

Cheers,

Tiger-Willi

I have had  a Russell Day Long seat on mine for 3 months now and it keeps getting better all the time, can ride 4 hours without needing to stop.  It did add some height to the seat but I can still flat foot when stopped.

The seat is the one thing on my bike that I have an issue with. I've been on 3 separate trips where I spent all day and 600+ miles on the bike. By the end of the day my @ss was DONE. my main complaint is the slope, it seems to want to slide me into the tank. Is there an easy way to pull back the cover and shave the foam slightly toward the back making a pocket? Never done that not sure if it's something I should attempt myself. I guess if I screwed it up I could send it to B. Mayer or someone. Gary
