HELLO FROM ARIZONA
« on: December 18, 2013, 12:27:00 am »
HELLO FROM ARIZONA.  JUST PICKED UP MY TT LAST WEEK, HAVE 550 MILES AND DID MY OWN SERVICE.  ONE ISSUE OF A DARK DISPLAY SCREEN AFTER THE BIKE WAS IN THE SUN WHILE I WAS IN A STORE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR.  TOOK QUITE A WHILE TO COME BACK TO NORMAL.  ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS ISSUE?  GREAT MILEAGE, STRONG MOTOR, HOPE SOME OF THE ISSUES I'VE BEEN READING ABOUT HAVE BEEN CLEARED UP ON MY 2014.  I'M USED TO THE TROUBLE FREE ISSUES ON MY PAST JAPANESE BIKES, HOPE THE BRIT'S CAN DO THE SAME!

Hi  :400: to the forum .My bike was built in Feb of 2013. I check with the dealer about some of the recalls other member were having and was told that they were corrected before the bike was built . such as the fuel tank and motor problem ,if yours is a 2014 you should have no recall issue . Happy riding

Hi Wingjack and  :401: but no need to shout!  :008: While the average age on a Triumph Trophy is probably a little higher than most bikes... no one is deaf on the internet! LOL

Hi Wingjack,   :400: welcome aboard. I've noticed the fading of the display screen under prolonged bright sun excposure on mine. It's only partial (right hand bottom corner mostly) and never lasts long. I will mention that to the dealer at next service. These days this should not occurr very often  :190:

Welcome to the group.

It is very strange that here in the uk I have not had the heat issue with the display  :006: LCD are susceptible to Heat and even pressure that changes the characteristics.
