GPS Power - An Observation
« on: December 20, 2013, 01:41:20 pm »
Picked up my new Trophy yesterday and brought her home. As I left the dealer, after starting the bike, the audio was not found. However, the GPS still worked albeit without sound. It had worked correctly prior to that last start; the GPS would only power up when the ignition was turned on and go to battery power when the ignition was turned off like any switched device.

After charging the battery and resetting the audio, the GPS is working like it should.

It's interesting that regardless of an operational audio system, the GPS still gets power. There is no mention of this in the manuals. Nice!
