2014 vs 2013
« on: January 05, 2014, 03:33:30 PM »
Has anyone read anything about differences....seems even the color options are the same.   There were a few recalls for the 2013, the 2014's perhaps have refined the bugs a little?

As far as I know, the only difference will be that they are discontinuing the basic model. Only the SE will be sold from now on.

After ordering the rear fender extension, the parts manager thinks that it is going to be stock for the 14's.

I don't have the rear fender extension on my 2014. I am going to order one though.

That rear fender extension does make a big difference
in keeping the back end of the bike clean.  :169:

I was also told that it was going to be be fitted as standard on new models.

My 2014 October 2013 build Trophy has the extended frear fender standard (all in one piece).  No other obvious differences that I can tell.  Hopefully every batch will get more consistent and reliable.
