Instrument Panel Reflection
« on: January 06, 2014, 04:25:31 PM »
I'm getting quite a bit of reflection from the instrument panel and at times it becomes very difficult to see anything. Has anyone found a product that solves this problem? I've been looking at a product that you'd cut yourself that reduces reflectivity and is used by the military. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I've had the same problem since last year  :087:
I've tried the anti glare that fits over tablets etc I've tried tracing tape all seams a waste of time  :087: :087:
The only solution that I have come up with is a extra sat nav mounted at the base of the bars that the sun cannot reflect my image off. If you do find a product the cures the problem please post ASAP  :028: :028:

Same issue.  Sun reflecting off the gauges when it's behind you can be pretty bad.

I actually have quite a list of Very Small Annoyances I've been collecting and thinking IF there is a way to send them to The Big T I'd do so one day...

I love this bike but... nothing is perfect...

I have had the very occasional flash from the instrument glass if the sun has been at just the right angle and the bike has been in just the right position but to be honest when it has happened it has been such a fleeting flash it really isn't anything to worry about.

I beleive you can get non reflective overlays fro phones and tablets.  They do cut down reflections.
