While on tour we often have to use a ferry or 2. I may be wrong but I believe these electronic throttles should not be in the tie-down area. Some Ferry staff really pull down on the ratchet of the tiedown (doing a good job)..... this is the traditional method. Other bikes can use the front suspension (which cannot be done on the TT)

New Throttle new method?
Has anyone had a throttle damaged?
What is the official word from Triumph?
