Any way to confirm the build date..

Hey all

Expecting to be pulling out my wallet after a demo ride.  Read through the threads about engine noise, TPS, battery, and other glitches.. Hoping the newest builds of 2014s will have the necessary modifications. Is there any way to identify the build date of a bike? Perhaps from the VIN?    Thanks

Just take a look at the date on the fork head

If there's a specific bike you're looking at, the Dealer should be able to look up
all the information you need, and what mod's or updates it has had.

When's the Test Ride ?

I was told all the details from the dealer - October 2013 build, VIN, 2014 model etc etc.
