My engine number is 57XXXXX and not a sausage or letter to announce recall. Spoke to the local service manager yesterday while getting the centre stand plate and no mention of a service bulletin. My bike's ticking along okay (forgive the pun).

Hi Bob,
Over on the other Thread :
"Engine upgrade e-mail from Triumph"
at Post #280,
Member "janfmiller" quotes the Triumph UK Warranty Department as saying :
"Technical News 153 is for the UK market only.
Technical News 154 covers the same subject and applies to all other markets
including the US. This provides the the details for the dealer to order and fit new parts to improve the engine noise on any Trophy model up to VIN number 602960 as required. "
Is your Aussie dealer able to look up Technical News Bulletin 154 ?
HAVE YOU HAD YOUR IGNITION WIRING SAFETY RECALL INSPECTION DONE YET ?

Ditto My engine number is 57XXXXX and not a sausage or letter to announce head recall or the centre stand plate mod.

Talked with a dealer this morning, from what I understood the recall is still down the track a bit.
I went down to organise the centre stand recall, let them order the parts.
"Apparently" the bike was on the system as having been done.

I posted under the other related topic that Triumph Aust informed me that as the TTSE was released in Aust approx a year after the release in the UK, the engine mods issues were attended to before the bikes went on sale here. The mods were made to a number of Explorers as these were released earlier.
Always ride in control.
