Tui Brewery again
« on: January 26, 2014, 09:18:52 AM »
This time without she who must be obeyed

First ride out with some Members of the Triumph Riders club to the Tui Brewery in Mangatainoka.

Great place to visit. Good food and the beers always cold.

Finally got to test the gopro in my preferred mounting position (run over the Pahiatua track)

Happy to say I met a great bunch of people and I'm looking forward to more rides with them.

This trip was to a bike and car show. Fundraiser for the local school, community groups & the Auckland Starship childrens hospital.

So of course the Trophy was entered.

Always amazing to see some of the bikes and cars that show up.

People's choice this year went to a 1951 BSA with sidecar.

Also fulfilled my wish. The Trip home was in the rain.. I didn't get at all wet and I'm more than happy with the OEM tyres the bike came with they handled well.

Great post thanks.
Nice bunch of bikes there as well. Cafe racer's seem to be on the up.....I think they are more an Art bike.....very simple pure lines stripped down to the basics

Great Video - like the editing and text overlays  :028:

Looked like a decent route too  :169:

( Hope the weather wasn't too bad on the way back - No "Lightning Crashes"  :005: )

Weather wasn't "too bad" on return trip.

As I said happy with bikes performance in the wet.

Yes it's a great little blast.. 29K of twisties...
