Hello from France
« on: January 27, 2014, 05:42:57 PM »
Hi, my name is Pierre.  I am an attorney, married, and I have five children (with the same wife and not for religious reasons(!) and eight bikes.

Yes, eight?  Why?  I am tempted to say: because I can.  But the reality is that I have more bike fluids than blood in my veins and it has been that way since I was 14.  I live in Paris and I don't own a car.  I ride every day.  And I mean every day.  I used to ride also under the snow, but I must confess that I feel less enthusiastic about (yet another) fall on my bike, these days.

Anyways, here are my bikes:

In Paris:

  • Triumph Trophy SE (of course)
  • Harley Road King
  • Triumph Bonneville
  • Aprilia Mana

In Provence:

  • Triumph Tiger Explorer
  • Harley Street Glide
  • Harley Softail Slim
  • BMW R1200 GS

I am looking forward to exchanging views with all of you.

Cheers,

Pierre

Thanks, guys.  I have had it for four months now, rode it across the country (including in the snow) and I am more than delighted.  After five Goldwings and a BMW K 1600 J'ÉTAIS (and I am only talking about fully dressed bikes), I can confirm that this one is simply the best, hands down.  I am looking forward to many miles of sheer pleasure.
