About as low as it will go. I use 640 by 480. I usually find the cheapest camera I can if my main purpose is to post such in forums like this one.

When you ask how to post, do you know how to use websites such as Photobucket for your photos to post here as pictures in your messages like below?

BTW, above is my TTSE the day I bought it and rode it home.

I now use Google+ account, used to use TinyPic.

Not all forums allow personal pictures to be stored, they take up a huge amount of space, so you have to use an image hosting service like TinyPic or Google+

Download your shots onto your computer's hard drive then upload the pics to the host provider.

Once uploaded to a host site, depending on the site, you have a URL link address to your photo you want to post, place that code between the "image" tags. (the button below the Bold button).

Most host sites automatically resize the photograph to suit.

A typical URL looks like    https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/PX-od5IvlFV8Ze245-FspPNWdTbRfCoknKnGoVPHNRI=w368-h207-p-no

Place that URL within the Image tags / code and it look like this

Another good feature with Google is that my phone is synced with it, so all camera shots, calendar and personnel phone contacts are all saved automatically.

why don't use the facility offered by this forum by clicking on "Attachments and other options", then just follow the instructions,

It' not the same thing when others have to click on it and download the file to their computer to view it, like done here.

Edit: I didn't realize this forum shows a small picture of the file, but still not quite the same.

if you click on the name of the file underneath the picture you get it larger. I think pictures inserted in the threads are only for illustration purposes, if one wants to display his/her pictures full size there's the Gallery for that purpose. (IMOHO)

This has nothing to do with photos but links. Seems your other message is locked so I will mention it here.

"In the first example above, all you need to do is DELETE the first closed square bracket and replace it with a " = " symbol, then add a closed square bracket followed by your own text immediately before the "{/url} like this :"

You're doing that the hard way.

You don't delete anything, but you do add a "=". You do NOT add a bracket.

You first copy the link you want to use and then insert the paste right after the added "=" and the bracket will automatically move to the right. Example (ignore the added "$" below-do not add it):

[$url=insertpaste][/url]

Now try it and see how easy it is.   IOW, just add a = and paste. Do nothing else.
