Fun day.
« on: February 09, 2014, 05:46:12 pm »
Spent yesterday fitting these.

Sat Nav mount with sat nav itself and Triumph power cable.

Rear fender extension and grill piece finisher for the right hand side of the bike after I dropped it!

I'll stick the nav mount fitting in the How To section.

This was the bike stripped.  :012:

and all the bits.  :012:

Looks a bit daunting but not that bad really. In total took about 3 hours. Read Coconuts instructions on how to remove fairing first which were EXCELLENT.  :028:

Cheers
Dave.

Before with number plate removed.

It mounts with four metal nuts & bolts which are supplied, the plastic fixings that hold the reflectors on are not re-fitted. The bottom two holes need to be drilled into the existing mudguard.

And after.

Hi Dave,

A "How to" on fitting the Sat Nav bracket would be really useful  :028:

I started to do one but ran out of time, and mine had already been fitted
by the Dealer so I didn't have any need to strip the front end down,
other than to write and photograph another "HOW TO",
and Hey - Why should I have all the fun writing these ? !!!

Look forward to seeing the write up in due course  :028:
