New Trophy SE
« on: February 09, 2014, 11:28:01 pm »
Just placed the order for a 2014 Pacific Blue Trophy SE. Bike will be here (Alberta, Canada) in mid-March; still in the UK. Hopefully the snow will be gone enough to ride it soon after.

Really looking forward to the new machine. Have been riding a Honda ST-1300A for the last 7 years and am quite excited about the new bike. All told I have been riding for 44+ years.

Cheers,
Norm

BTW, that would drive me nuts if I had to wait so long for my TTSE. I had mine the same day I decided to buy.

Could have done that but the only bike they had available was silver. Sold the one blue bike they had in stock 2 hours before I got there.

I really envy you riders in warmer areas. Here we have snow and ice until sometime in March or April ... manufacturers are in no hurry to stock dealers until the weather improves.

Well, I cannot blame  you for waiting for the much faster blue TTSE.  The faster blue is definitely worth waiting for!

But don't feel too bad. Weather has been nonstop rain here and both rain and snow at our Reno home, where my TTSE is located.

This running joke about which bike is faster is really nonsensical and detracts from the dignity and demeanor of this Forum. Why not just accept that the silver bikes are not only faster but also much cooler.

Welcome to the forum (we are all mostly colour blind, really!)  I spent 9 years with my trusty ST1100, and the Trophy is the first bike that made me really decide to change.  I still have the ST1100 ready to go if needs be, but I am becoming less likely to want to go back to it except in an emergency.  At 215,000kms it is not worth that much, but still has all the gear on it I want for my riding.
