After weeks of waiting I've got my Trophy.
« on: February 15, 2014, 07:12:34 pm »
This morning I took my RT on its last trip to the dealers and picked up their ex demo Trophy. I'm over the moon with it, the oh so smooth turbine like engine the comfort, the handling...everything, it's great. :152:
I can see that as I thought in one of my previous posting the menu and switches are going to get a little getting used to, I might even have to read the manual :164:. I've already tried pressing the cruise control on/off switch assuming that would that would start the operation, silly me! :087:
Tomorrow looks good, hmm where to go? So many places I want to go, roll on the good weather.

Cheer up they said, things could be worse. So I cheered up and sure enough things DID get worse!

:400: to the forum . good luck on your new Trophy . It took me some time to get use to the all the buttons and controls  . I traded a 1999 BMW  R 1100 RT for the Trophy, both bikes weight and handling were about the same, no problem there . What options did you get .

Welcome, and as a play on one of the old western movies - manual, manual?  We don't need no stinking manual!  Find yourself an eight year old to show you how it all works ha ha.

Welcome :401:  I did not fiddle with many settings to start with, just suspension mode and resetting the trip meters.  I rode the Trophy like a normal bike before getting too distracted by the other many useful features.
