New Wheels
« on: February 19, 2014, 03:53:26 am »
Has anyone installed aftermarket wheels. like some billet or carbon fiber, are there any vendors out there that even makes for the Trophy SE??? Just asking as I can see myself looking for a set as I not the biggest fan of the stock.

Also has anyone used the beads to balance the wheels?

I know that many dealers no longer use bead balancing.  Both the dealers I use  refuse to do so even though customers request.  There were a couple abbreviated discussions of the topic earlier which you can find by using the search tool.

That's news to me  :084: I've used beads on several bikes without any issue other than a bit of faffing around when changing tyres or doing a puncture repair.

Must admit that the quality of the paint or the paint process leaves a lot to be desired.
Could do better with a spray can !

Wonder what color would look good on a silver bike?

Kineo do a spoked wheel conversion for the Explorer (it includes a new hub), I belive you can lace on a selection of rim sizes, if you like spoked wheels that is  :164:
