10000 miles service done
« on: February 22, 2014, 04:55:51 pm »
I just got my Trophy back from having the 10000 mile service done.  Also had the ECM recall taken care of.  I'd had no issues with the bike before.
I didn't notice much of a difference with a new ECM / Tune.  It was raining and foggy so I didn't run her too hard coming home.
I was originally quoted around $750 for the service.  It ended up just at $500.  That savings is going to a new helmet  :047:

Did you also have the head replaced?

No, no head replacement.  No center stand recall, no other services besides the ECM change.

The $500 you paid is reasonable.  But at 10,000 I had the head replaced and while at it had dealer replace the air filter.  The ECU done at same time.  The rest of the 10,000 service is easily done so I will do it myself when I pick the bike up from the dealer.
