Steve - new noob..
« on: February 26, 2014, 04:36:56 am »
Hi, my name is Steve Wilber. I live in Simi Valley.  Here is the good news. I am looking at a new or (if I can  find it) used Trophy. I have had three wings and I have a yamaha FZ1 and FZ09 2014... Selling the 2014 FZ09 and buying the trophy. I joined this forum to gather all the info I can.
Is the 13 ok or should I buy a 2014????

Thanks, Steve Wilber   :745:

Hi Steve and  :400: to the Forum !

There have been a few problems with earlier models,
most of these have been sorted by Triumph, and with 2 years
warranty from New, you should be fine to buy either !

My advice would be Take a Test Ride, have your finances ready to buy,
and negotiate the best price you can for the bike and accessories for your budget.

Then come back and announce the purchase and tell us what you got !   :152:

Steve - Welcome to the forum  :401:

I've split your post from the other one, and also edited the smiley. No need to put it inside "img" tags, just click on the smiley when composing.

Also, I've removed your email address from your post. I wouldn't advise putting it in posts otherwise it will get harvested by spam bots and you'll end up getting loads of spam eventually. For that reason no ones email address is exposed in their profile or on posts (however you will be able to see your own).

Enjoy the forum - cheers  :821:

Welcome Steve  :002: you'll find tons of advice and a lot of potential helpers on this forum. Pre 2014 models should be ok as long as recalls and tsb have been fully completed :821:
