Having joined the
Triumph Owners' Motor Cycle Club ( why wouldn't you ? ),
and bought a nice shiny metal club badge, I couldn't work out where to fit it

The badge has two holes at the base for small bolts or screws, but I didn't want to make any holes in the bike

So, I have fitted it as shown in the Photo's below - behind the screen. The screen is easy to remove,
just undo the front two cover screws from each arm, and the one underneath that is then revealed,
and carefully lift the screen away, keeping an eye out for any of the rubber mountings that drop off !
I didn't make any holes and screw the badge to the bike at all - although it looks like I have

Instead, I fitted two small countersung headed bolts through the holes,
then a small washer and the nut on the back, cut off the excess thread
with a Junior hacksaw and then filed it all down flush and smooth.
I then used some of those small "3M" self adhesive plastic velcro pieces -
the same ones that are used to attach the Powerbronze Headlamp protectors,
sticking one at each corner of the badge, then stuck the badge into position.
The added depth of the velcro pieces gives enough clearance so that the nuts on the back of the badge
don't come into contact with the plastic that the badge is stuck to, so there's no damage to the bike at all,
and it is relatively safe from being pinched, as it's tucked down behind the screen and "looks" like
you'd need to take the screen off, and then use a screwdriver to remove it
