Howdo Clive. I'm tempted to say "right turn" but I won't.  :400:

I also moved from a BM to a Trophy.

What made you pick the Trophy ?

Regards

Hi Wscan, right turn it fine.

Had a Pan and was very happy with it until i got knocked off so went for the RT. Found the RT to be a bit uncomfortable so lowered the seat and pegs (i'm a bit short in the leg) but still had same problem with groin pain. My wife was also not happy with the seating position and complained about her knees sticking out as the bike felt a bit cosy. I was complaining that her legs were squeezing against me all the time. Wife and i were not happy being on it at the same time.

I was ok riding on my own but not a great fan of the engine or steering as i felt it was very heavy( played with tyre pressures).

It was nice and light but not the same comfort factor as the pan. Did 1000 miles in the first month then parked it up in september (used varadero).Went to the launch night and arranged a test ride (had three) and the RT sat there till last week when I got it an MOT, now up for sale. Collecting Rowse (going to be a busy beeeeee) wife names everything apart from the RT as she new it wasn't going to be around very long.

Also tried the VFR 800 but wife did not like that ether.

Test rode the Trophy on the same route as RT dry run, rainy run and damp run and felt so much more confident on the Trophy.

I know a lot of people say the Trophy looks like the RT but my wife and i think the Trophy looks like the Pan from the front.

Hope this answers your question

When are you off to Scotland Splatcat? We are going in mid May. Dunfries, Isle of Skye, John o'Groats, St Andrews and back to Dumfries for a couple of nights.

Hi Robin. Due to go on the 6th April weather permitting, via the lakes up to Edinburgh and then maybe up to Inverness. Back via Holly Island and the Yorkshire Dales and Home by the 12th. Off to France June Ireland in August.
