Things I keep Learning
« on: March 01, 2014, 03:01:42 am »
The more time I spend with the TTSE the more things I find out I bought unknowingly, like the engine immobilizer (after I told the insurance company it had no theft protection).  I keep reading the owners manual to see what I may have missed on this machine and around every turn is a new surprise.  :028:  I spent an hour sitting on the bike with the owners manual playing with the electronics to figure out how to get through the screens quicker and set up everything to my liking.  Had the dealership actually went through everything with me I would have been there much longer.  So the point is what am I missing that I just haven't figured out yet.  What are the shortcuts, best settings, hidden features/capabilities this bike offers that everyone else is finding? Thanks in advance for the insight.

That's a good question.  I don't want to sound like a wise guy but its a bit hard to tell what you are missing if you don't tell us what you know or tell us exactly what you want to know.  Now some of our members seem to just love to type (I'm not one of them) so they may just jump right in and, assuming you know nothing, will tell you everything there is to know.

Maybe we need a thread that just posts user experience of what feature we find coolest about our Trophy with no responses... Just the list of cool functions and features.... That will tease everything out!

that's a good idea, the difficulty will be to make sure that no responses are posted, it's sometimes difficult but it can work, judging from experience with another forum I participate.

Sungunr,

Re :  Things I keep learning ......

You're doing exactly the right thing - making use of "downtime" between rides,
by reading through the Lists of features - more commonly known as the Owners Handbook,
and Audio Handbooks  :028:

There is SO much information in them, that it's useful to revisit occasionally for a Refresher  :169:
