My new bike is here!
« on: March 02, 2014, 04:05:42 am »
Finally got the chance today to pick up the '14 Trophy I ordered. :152: It came in just before I left on my trip to Poland, but they couldn't get it serviced before I left. I noticed one thing new apparently for the '14s. When you turn the key off instead of the shield going down, it stays in the last position until you turn the key to the locked position. I knew on the '13s that the shield went down as soon as you turned the key off when I test rode it. Now to get the chance to put all the goodies on. I ordered just about all the accessories, but I told them to leave them off the bike except the heated grips which I knew had to be turned on in the computer. So sad to say I trailered it to the house instead of riding it home on such a pretty day. I know, don't flame me too bad, but I was kind of tired from the 16 hours of flying coming back from Poland plus being up for 20 hours that day total for the trip home.

Congratulations  :821:

I doubt anyone in here would criticise you for trailering your
Pride & Joy home, much better to do that than make a silly mistake
while riding tired, and dropping it ( or worse )  :012:

You didn't say if your Poland trip is for business or pleasure,
but either way you're going to have a hard time thinking about
anything other than enjoying your Trophy when you get back  :028:

Congrats on picking up your new bike, bet you can't wait to get some miles on her, picked mine up today also so just getting used to it, only trouble I'm having so far is wiping the grin off my face every time I ride her.

Congratulations on the new ride.  Wise decision re trailer especially when you are tired.  Better to be safe than sorry.
No such thing as bad weather - just inappropriate clothing.
