Playlist on memory stick
« on: March 11, 2014, 08:27:42 pm »
Is it a normal feature that the playlist starts over again at the first track everytime I switch the engine on and not from where it stopped when the ignition was turned off?

Mine plays from where it left off. But when I press the back button instead of going to the previous track it goes back to the first track. Also I read somewhere that it plays music in alphabetical order but mine doesn't seem to.... :155:
And another thing, I have over 1300 tracks on an eight gb memory stick but I hear some tracks more often than I want, why is that?
Not sure if there is any way to change the settings/output from the memory stick.
But I have to say its great being able to listen to music through speakers rather than through earpieces.  :062:
Cheer up they said, things could be worse. So I cheered up and sure enough things DID get worse!

The audio functions are fine on USB and GPS NAV input.

Could pay to check the Audio software version #.

there is a problem from the beginning
a USB stick only played about 23 tracks, after stays in continuous loop on the last track played, triumph knows but has no solution

I had something similar with an older phone. The music player basically generated it's own playlist from the MP3 data, if the file had multiple genre tags it played the same track several times. The software wasn't fixable so I just ran my files through MP3 software to edit the tag data.

Hi miss,

problem will be solved if the mp3-filenames are shortened. Tracks with 60 or more characters in the filename will loop.

pleased to report that thanks to uwe-m's tip this problem is also solved! Thanks  :047: Since I've shortened the titles of a couple of tracks the system starts from where it had stopped and does not go back to track #1 anymore!! Great tip uwe-m! Thanks :152:
