Gear Shift Position Service Bulletin
« on: March 11, 2014, 09:20:02 pm »
All--

Does anyone have a copy of the Gear shift SB?  If you do can you check the specified length of the link rod?  the manual states 95mm but that seems a bit short.

Thanks,
--John

miss--

I'm not sure what you mean.  I know that there is a SB that provides gear shift adjustment procedure.  The manual states the link rod should be adjusted to 95mm, hemi joint threaded end to hemi joint threaded end, which seems too short.   I am wondering what the SB length is.

Are you referring to bleeding the clutch.  Did you bleed the clutch to reduce clutch drag and improve shifting?

atvtinker--

Thanks for the links, I found them using the site's search engine.  I've read through the site thread and couldn't find the new dimension.  The link to the Triumph website doesn't have a link to the actual SB so no luck there either.  What I'm trying to determine is whether the shop manual dimension (95mm) was printed before or after the SB.
