Has any one mounted a radar detector yet?
If so, pics or specifics would help

Absolutely!  I posted a photo on this forum a few weeks ago in this posting:

I am considering using the GPS mount and a short RAM arm to mount the radar detector in the centre and to mount my GPS by the left handgrip

Hi Team this is what i have done in the Radar detector Department, I have the Adapative tech TPX 2 Weather proof unit and Used the GPS mount and modified the base to suit the radar detector foot plate, i have connected power to it from the GPS plug under the faring, and run a audio output to a plug that plugs in to the SENA SR10 which sits in the front glove box compartment, which then broadcasts the audio to my Bluetooth SENA head set

Very nice Indy.  Looks like the solution I've been searching for.  How easy is it to detach the unit and take it with you?  Leaving the radar unit on the bike might be tempting to those of a less than honest persuasion.  BTW I see this is your first post so you may want to stop over to the New Member Forum and introduce yourself so that we can get to know you.

Thanks for that.  Couple more question.  Does the radar unit connect directly (via bluetooth of course) to the headset or do you have to go through the Trophy?  I have a Cardo G9.  Does your documentation indicate that the radar detector will work with that model?
