« on: March 15, 2014, 01:27:42 pm »
bought my ttse in nov/13 I ve done 600km and will be bring her in as soon snow melts (montreal/Canada. I went on the cdn triumph sight and chatted to find out what recalls were associated with my v.i.n and all she said was ecu and that's all. can I trust her? any quebec or other cnd provinces have had issues with their ttse? I d like to know so I can talk to my dealer in montreal. to everyone else enjoy the season and ride safe my friends. oh how much is it for first service, oil change and inspection? normal oil or synth thanks

Only use synthetic  engine oil in the TTSE.   It is NOT designed for dino oil and that has a lot of advantages, unlike using synthetic engine oil in older vehicles where there is no real advantage. You really can go 10,000 miles / 16,000 KM between oil changes without any issues in your TTSE. Seems almost everybody is using Castro full synthetic in their TTSE's, including the dealers.

For recall info. see here.

BTW, I also bought my TTSE in Nov 0f 2013.

thanks Don, wilco on synth. my dealer told me I only have ecu to get done I spoke to him about others having cylinder issues and gave him a copy of the u.k owners. he was going to look into it. Mean while here in montreal there s still snow  :187: I still have to break her in another 400km before my first oilchange. drive safe and enjoy the roads :002:
