Sat Nav lock ?
« on: March 23, 2014, 12:43:27 pm »
We are going to tour in Scotland in a couple of months time so Ive purchased a Zumo 660, having bought It I am quite keen to keep it so does anyone have ideas regarding locking it to the bike other then the Touratech clamp ?

Thanks

Roger

I just take it off and lock it in the top box or a pannier

Thanks, it just seems a pain if you just need to pay for fuel or something quick.

Im probably going to regret it some day, but for those short stops, I just throw my gloves or a ball cap over the GPS. Haven't lost one yet (knock on wood) If the ball cap is ugly enough no one will even approach the bike.  :008:

Yeah.... if it is just a quick fuel stop then I run the odds and leave the GPS on the bike...

The touratech is a big bit of kit and not sure it would fit on the Triumph GPS mount under the screen

Roger

If its just getting fuel I leave it on the bike, if I'm going to be away from the bike for any length of time as before, take it with or lock it away
