Newbie, Trophy SE
« on: March 24, 2014, 01:08:31 pm »
I just sold my Tiger Exp 1200 as only managed 15,000 miles in in 16 months, and won't be riding this year as getting over major operations. If all goes well as soon as I'm able to ride then it's a Trophy SE. I do 2 big trips each year all over Europe and need a bit more comfort and weather protection!

My Exp had a new cyl head, due to the noisy top end, went back to the factory twice for non starting as dealer couldn't sort it, new ECU, new front pipes and the list goes on. So have they ironed out all the problems with the engine now? As I don't need another 'Friday' bike!  :156:

Regards Bladers

Welcome to our group, Balders!  I'm sure by the time you're ready to buy, most of the bugs will have been worked out.  Even with a few issues, I'd still rather ride the Trophy!
Get better soon!

Welcome Balders!  I am now having some of those reported problems, but it took 12,000kms for them to appear.  I have not even thought of another bike as the trophy just fits me like it is made to order.
