Cruise drops out, Speedo drops and returns to proper reading
« on: March 26, 2014, 06:43:48 pm »
Had the speedo drop and return thing happen a couple of times before the ECM replacement.  Not sure if I ever had cruise engaged then but...

Twice since the ECM replacement I've had the cruise engaged at 75 mph or so.  Suddenly the throttle closes, bike decelerates sharply, and I look at the display just in time to see the speedo needle climb back up.  Throttle works, and the cruise will resume.

Anyone else seeing this....?

Is there any mechanism available to report issues to Triumph other than telling your dealer??

Mine has pulled that stunt a couple of times. It went to the dealer this morning for the ECM upgrade. I told them to take it for a REAL ride after the work is finished. Don't just putt around the block and tell me it is okay.
