Idle Moments
« on: March 31, 2014, 08:22:24 pm »
I Just visited the members page and wondered how many we are up to and found that at 27 members per page X 32 pages plus 12 on the last page we have 876 members to date, if on average we all paid £15000 GBP roughly for our bikes we as members have spent about 13 million pounds on arguably Triumphs best product.
I hope that they appreciate that.

Interesting calculations though if you look at the top of the page you will see there are 972 members.   Also keep in mind the amount we pay the dealer is not the same as what the dealer paid Triumph.  Still an interesting number, perhaps you may want to recalculate and forward to Triumph.

Erm, Uh, well, not all of us have pulled the trigger on a purchase quite yet.  :138:  There are at least several members here who, like me, are waiting to ensure that all of the major bugs are fully worked out (replacement ECUs still cutting out, etc).  Oh, and I'm waiting for a red one..... :164:

That said, your numbers wouldn't be too far off.  And let's not forget that there are likely TTSE purchasers out there somewhere who have not yet found the forum.

Yeah, well, without beating a dead horse, the TTSE is at the top of my list for a next bike, but I must have a bike that won't leave me stranded, or have the engine cut out while scraping pegs on an Arkansas back road.  Unless some other manufacturer comes up with something better in the meantime, the TTSE will be mine when the 2015s are released.  To me, it's got everything I need, plus more things that I want.

My comment was intended as a joke, hence the emoticons.

It's got everything but a good seat. Had mine reworked by ASTECH while in Daytona. Much better now !!!
