Hidden Menu
« on: April 01, 2014, 06:29:48 am »
Has anyone discovered the hidden menu for turning off the Headlamp ?

While Stationary with the engine running, hold the Main Beam "flash" switch "on",
( Not the Rocker switch that puts the Main Beam on permanently ),
and while holding the Flash switch on, briefly press the horn button 3 times,
at 1 second intervals.

When activated "LIGHTS OFF" appears in the Instrument Panel Display.

Repeat process to switch lights back on ( LIGHTS OFF message clears from Display ),
or switch engine off - lights will always be "on" by default at each engine start.  :028:

Pretty interesting stuff, although not too likely I'll ever use it. But it makes me wonder what other 'hidden' functions we might have available...?

So, Happy "April Fools" Day  to all Triumph Trophy Forum members :152:

If anyone did fall for it and tried to switch their Lights off,
at least all that sounding of the horn will have attracted even more attention
to your fantastic motorcycle, I just hope the neighbours didn't get too annoyed ! :150:
