Pulled the Trigger
« on: April 07, 2014, 03:10:57 pm »
I went ahead and picked up a lightly used (3900 miles) 2013 TTSE on Friday from Manassas Triumph here in Virginia. I was focused on silver, but they came through with an offer on a blue one I couldn't refuse. I had them add heated grips, top box and tank bag, all for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend those guys. And the blue is really beginning to grow on me. The hardest part was giving up my Sprint GT, which up to now was the most fun bike I've owned. I was seriously considering keeping it but did not want to give in to the temptation to start collecting bikes.

The bike is awesome. As someone noted when I posted under the new member section, the bike just gets better the more you ride it.

Next likely will be handle bar mirrors and additional ram bases to fit under them. Thanks to all for the advice on pricing, mirrors, etc. Looking forward to continuing to get great information from the forum and to contribute when I have something useful to add.

Mike DH
Good decision both in bike and colour. :008:

I have heard that blue ones are silver underneath and over a a century or so the blue wears off to expose the slower silver one. :745: :745:

Honestly who cares its a Triumph. Have loads of fun.
