Passenger back rest?
« on: April 08, 2014, 02:23:35 am »
Hello riders!
Is there a back rest for the passenger available for the trophy?  Also it would have to be available for Canada or the US.  It would be just a little more comfortable for the passenger, wife or other.
Also is it recommended to install side crash bars, or something to prevent damage in case of a tipover?

G'day Jim,

By back rest are you referring something other than that fitted to the top box? Corbin seats for the TT SE have optional back rests.

For the record my wife really enjoys the back rest on the Triumph top box. The added benefit is additional waterproof storage with 12volt power.

I ordered the R&G Racing crash bars for my new machine. I ordered them from thru UK directly and then found out you can get them from  I had the tip over bars on my ST1300 and decided to better be safe then sorry. They are >expensive but I think that they could pay for themselves.

R&G has a story showing the value; I think this is Coconut's story.

Yep  :169:

Testimoinal by Alan Meredith aka Coconut !

I gave them permission to use my testimonial and Photo's in whatever way they wished,
as I was so impressed with them - this was before I found out the bike was a "write off",
but that doesn't alter my opinion of them at all !
