Basecamp for Mac: Tips and Tricks

I spent a lot of time digging for info on Basecamp, asked a lot of questions. So I get a chance to pay back a little (or is it pay forward?)
    So, heres how to:
    Install Maps onto your Mac

So you already know how to hook up your Zumo to your Mac, and you know how to install your map updates onto your Zumo?
Heres how to load them onto your Mac also, so you don't need to plug in the Zumo, you can work on routes and stuff, then load them onto the Zumo later.

Here you see that no device is attached to my Mac

And heres my map sets installed on the Mac

Now I plugged in the Zumo

And Heres the map sets on the Mac and the Zumo

Garmin Express pops up, I didn't have any new updates but if I did, they would show up here.

    Click on Reinstall Map

    Click Advanced Options

    Click Advanced Options again

This pops up, See the drop down menu

Click Device and Computer (Not sure about selecting Computer only, undesirable results may occur)

    Install Now

DO NOT read the terms and conditions, just click Agree  :001:

    Now go have a beer

When its finished you'll see that both your map sets are the same version.

And Here is the finished product

    Handy instructions.

I got very frustrated last year trying to plan a big trip as I had different maps on the computer and it was more by luck than judgement I ended up stumbling across this method!
Triumph Trophy! Not for every Tomaz, Dieter or Herman!🇬🇧
