Finally bought one!
« on: April 18, 2014, 01:43:14 pm »
Well, after a year and a bit of looking and a sale that never happened, I have finally found my Trophy.  Bought a blue 2013 from a dealer in Texas, I'm in Toronto....so the next task is getting it here.  I got a pretty good deal, so worth the extra effort.  I will likely ship it, although I thought about flying down and riding it back....but not sure I have the time (2,300 km).

I debated because of a fair amount of negative/problem comments, but I'm hoping my bike will be a great one.   Bike comes with everything I wanted, top box, rick Meyer seat, extra comfort seat, high and standard windshield, triumph tank bag.

So, can't wait to get it home, will be a few weeks to get the title and make arrangements....but it's still cold here anyway.

Gord

Welcome,

I vote that you ride it home.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

Hello Gord!
I live in BC and I didn t think that US dealers would sell one to Canucks.
I too am looking to purchase one out here and they want 23,700 with tax etc....and that's without the top box.
I may have to check out some US dealers before I commit.
cheers,Jim
