Firmware updates
« on: March 08, 2013, 08:59:33 PM »
Well home from vacation first stop was to the dealers , checked build date and its 10/12 , so I asked dealer about any firmware updates etc . They punched in serial # and said Triumph has no updates for the bike ...
They asked me if I could find out the updates that have been done so I am passing that question on to those here on the forum ...?
They have communicated with Mr. Pete from Atlanta and of course he is saying no problems exist ...
Thanks in advance !
Still nervous about accepting the 10/12 Trophy ...?
What is the build date on yours Don ?

i mean the analogue speedo.... (one side is the tach, the other is the speedo)   is the readout in kms?    everyone i have seen in pics even from the UK is in miles, but i was told at the bike show that the Canadian ones would be in kms....

kgerry the Australian Trophies are in kms so I suspect the Canadian ones will be as well.  I don't know about Canadian Road laws but in Australia it is against the law to hvae a vehicle displaying miles and not kms.

Far as i know new vehicles sold must display KM's and not miles. But if the vehicle came with miles when new like my old Norton, then it is fine to keep that display. It is up to you to know the correct speed. All so because those south of us use miles still and come visit once in awhile and they don't get ticketed.
