Any Way to Stop Screen from Going Down?
«

When I wash this beast it is difficult to clean the top of the dash and the back of the screen when the screen goes down. Do not want to leave the key in the ignition when I wash it.
Any way to intentionally keep it from going down?

Put it up and disconnect the battery maybe.
Seriously though, I just leave it in the "On" position while washing that area. No issues.

Last night I took my bike to the self service wash, left the ignition to "on", raised the screen and lightly power washed it.
No issues at all.

I just leave the ignition on..... its no big deal.... I usually play music over the speakers while I am cleaning the bike anyway.

When the ignition is on, it is not really on until the crank rotates. I use the "ignition on" as an accessory position, the only things really on are the two LED lights until the starter is touched and the crank starts to turn. I have left my ignition on for more than an hour as I installed my GPS lock, listening to the XM radio at the same time and with no issues.
